Mr. Asit Shetty

The founder of Aveda Ventures is Mr. Asit Shetty. Prior to the incorporation of Aveda Ventures, Mr. Shetty was a partner with Genesis Realtors Pvt. Ltd. He was instrumental in the completion of Genesis Ecosphere; an elegant residential building spread over 3 acres, located in the heart of Electronic City, Bangalore.

Mr. Shetty played an important part in identifying, negotiating and finalizing the acquisition of around 200 acres of land for one of India's largest real estate companies. He also had a significant role in the Taj-GVK Group's acquisition of around 7 acres of land for a 5-star hotel. Moreover, he located, evaluated key properties, and finalized JDs for several top real estate developers.

In addition to his role at Aveda, Mr. Shetty is the proprietor of West Coast Infra which has executed several construction and road-related projects in the ONGC/MRPL complex in Mangalore. West Coast Infra has successfully completed projects for ANS Constructions, a major Delhi-based construction company; IRRCON International, a Government of India Company, and for L&T.

Ambassador BR Muthu Kumar (IFS)

BR Muthu Kumar is a distinguished career diplomat and leading policy analyst. He was the Ambassador of India to Tajikistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Lithuania. He was also the head of the Indian Council for world affairs and was a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. He has a Masters in Sociology, M.Phil / PhD in Sociology and Educational Development from the Jawaharlal National University. His insight and exposure to various aspects of Urban Development in India and abroad will be invaluable to the company.

Mr. N Shridhar

Mr. N Shridhar served as Group Director of Finance and Strategy of DB Realty Ltd. until April 24, 2012. Mr. Shridhar served as the Chief Financial Officer of Future Capital Holdings from October 10, 2006 to November 5, 2010. He has 20 years of experience with various organizations like Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Coca-Cola India, Asian Paints, Unilever Industries and Britannia Industries across various facets of finance .He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Britannia Industries Ltd. until April 2006 and Vice President of Operations Finance at Coca Cola India Inc. He serves as a Director in the following companies: Kshitij Property Solutions Private Limited, of B.E. Billimoria & Co. Limited, Future Ventures India Ltd., Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Ltd. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London and Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He has also passed his Intermediate examination of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Mr. Shridhar holds a B.Com graduate and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Mumbai University.

Mr. S Viswanathan

Mr. S Viswanathan is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has worked as a consultant for the World Bank and with Price Waterhouse and is presently the CEO of Kentree Business Advisory. His role as CEO of Kentree involves Strategic Consulting & Investment Banking; strategic advisory to new and young companies on business planning, growth, VC or bank funding, M&A's; advising larger and older companies on Corporate Governance, ERM, SOx/Clause 49/Companies Act Internal Controls, IFRS, Business Process review & re-engineering; Assessments: Risk based internal audits, evaluation & assessments of projects, programmes, due diligence for investment and franchisees/dealers. Viswanathan is the president of the IIM Ahmedabad Alumni Association, Bangalore Chapter.

Mr. Vivek Rao

Mr. Vivek Rao is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and MBA, University of Chicago. He has worked as an investment banker with JPMorgan in the U.S. After returning to India, he was the CEO of an FDI real estate company engaged in building large townships. He also has extensive experience in capital markets, start-ups advisory, fund raising and project management.

Dr. Maya Thomas

Dr. Maya Thomas is the Member of the Editorial Committee for the World Disability Rehabilitation Report, WHO, Geneva and a member of the Core Group to develop the CBR Guidelines, WHO, Geneva. She is the editor of the Asia Pacific Disability Rehabilitation Journal and a consultant for International disability rehabilitation and Development. She is on the advisory panel for various disability rehabilitation programs and is an advocacy expert for the rights of the disabled. She is a (Ph.D.) in Psychology. She is a mentor to the company on compliance of building accessibility requirements for the disabled.

Mr. Pramod Kumar Rai (KAS)

Mr. Pramod Kumar Rai is a former bureaucrat. He was the Managing Director of CAMPCO (The Central Arecanut & Cocoa Marketing & Processing Co-operative Limited). Before being appointed as MD, CAMPCO he was the joint director of co-operative societies and additional registrar of co-operative society's. After retiring from CAMPCO, he practiced law as a senior advocate. He is also a prolific writer. He is an expert in all aspects of the law and has in-depth knowledge and understanding of local land regulations.
